Everyone knows an Italian recipe as it was often the first cooking style experienced in restaurants opended by Italian immigrants in their city and the simple, affordable and tasty recipes were relatively easy to replicate at home by housewives and cooks. Traditional Italian recipes have a strong regional association and are linked to local produce for that region and now many imitators and commercial companies have developed variations on Italian recipes.
